How to read your comparison
The larger selected planet sets the visual scale. The other planet’s diameter is drawn in proportion, so the size difference stays honest even for Earth and Jupiter. The distance row describes an average orbit around the Sun, not how far apart the selected planets are today.
Sources & measurement notes
Mean radii and orbital periods: NASA/JPL planetary physical parameters. Diameter is twice mean radius. Average Sun distances and rotation durations are rounded from NASA’s planet guides. Distances vary along each orbit; these values are not live positions or distances from Earth.
